If hypertext, in general, was to be given a soundtrack, it would have to be composed of American punk bands from the early 80's: Black Flag, the Misfits, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains... It seemed like every time I worked on a hypertext, the noisy, clanging guitars and loud, screeching vocals would throw themselves into the workings of my self. This happened because, in the world of hypertext, I constantly feel like I am on the edge of a revolution, like hypertext will someday be an integral part of billion of lives because of its desire to bread down barriers [sic].
