A Space Without A Goal

Intuition and not religion or philosophy is at the heart of a sense of Oneness.
"My view may be expressed by saying that every discovery contains 'an irrational element', or 'a creative intuition', in Bergson's sense. In a similar way Einstein speaks of the the 'search for those highly universal laws...from which a picture of the world can be obtained by pure deduction. There is no logical path', he says, 'leading to these...laws. They can only be reached by intuition.'" - Karl Popper
You don't need to be a priest, or a philosopher or a "big thinker" to let go.
Connected mind isn't a "religious" state. It's normal, run-of-the-mill stuff. Interconnectedness is the natural order of things.
Connected mind doesn't require a knowledge of religion or philosophy. It doesn't require expertise. Connected mind requires nothing more than what is readily accessible within each of us. Everybody can feel connected. If you have a sense of intuition, you're most of the way there.
"You must let go yourself, altogether let go of self, and then you have really let go." - Meister Eckhart
Whether you're following a hyperlink or making an intuitive leap in your head, it's the same thing. They're connections across thought-space.
Intuition connects us to the Infinite.
"Computers are interesting only because they generate little universes that will allow us to ask the fundamental and ancient philosophical questions of all time. Instead of trying to answer them with a bunch of philosophers with tweed coats sitting in booklined, leather-bound rooms, we are asking and actually trying things out by creating little worlds...This is the great exhilaration and the great excitement about the digital realm. We have a chance to be God and recreate our universe by putting our cells and memes into it and asking questions about our own universe." - Kevin Kelly
Click on a hyperlink and you have no idea what's coming. There are no guarantees. You trust your intuition. You let go.
When you trust a hyperlink, you trust yourself.
When you trust others, you trust yourself.
Lack of trust is the enemy.
Giving is its own reward.
The web is the catalyst that pulls us, collectively, to an acceptance of connected mind.
Enter, stage left (pursued by the humble home page) connected mind.
"It's steam engines when it comes steam engine time." - Charles Fort
Get webbed. Get Webbed.
We don't need computers to be Webbed. We have always been Webbed.
All is flow. All is One.
"There's no magic. It's simply about being good to your fellow man." - H.H. the Dalai Lama
There are no limits to the truth of "I am cause."
Individual consciousness is collective. We are all interdependent.
An acceptance that we are connected addresses an age-old discrepancy in perception between collective consciousness and "individual" thought.
The reason the world's a mess is because we have thought it, individually, disconnectedly, into a mess. Given our perception of things, we could have done a great deal worse.
Our problems have a far easier "solution" than we're used to thinking. They only seem difficult to disconnected minds.
There are no chosen people. We are all chosen.
"We have no right to assume that any physical laws exist, or if they have existed up to now, that they will continue to exist in a similar manner in future." - Max Planck
"Knowing about the possibility of reshaping one's beliefs is the necessary prelude to doing so." - Willis Harman and Howard Rheingold
"The essential function of the universe is a machine for the making of Gods." - Henri Bergson
"Man isn't born to resolve the problems of the universe but in fact to discover where the problem commences and then to maintain himself within the limits of the knowable." - Goethe
"No 'answer' can offer man a possibility of autonomy. An 'answer' subordinates human existence. The autonomy - sovereignty - of man is linked to the fact of his being a question with no answer." - Georges Bataille
"All is but a woven web of guesses." - Xenophanes
The web is unknowable. The Web is Unknowable.
"Chaos is merely the metastatic figure of chance." - Jean Baudrillard
"Despite appearances, we are beings without borders." - Michael Talbot
"Deep down the consciousness of mankind is one." - David Bohm
"The human form is not unlike a mandala or symbolic poem, for within its form and flow lives comprehensive information about various physical, social, psychological, and evolutionary contexts within which it was created." - Ken Dychtwald
"In the last several decades a remarkable body of evidence has accrued suggesting that our current understanding of reality, the solid and comforting sticks-and-stones picture of the world we all learned about in high-school science class, is wrong. Because these findings cannot be explained by any of our standard scientific models, science has in the main ignored them." - David Talbot
"Don't bite my finger. Look where I'm pointing." - Warren McCulloch
"In the long run it is far more dangerous to adhere to illusion than to face what the actual fact is." - David Bohm
Primary reality is too rich to be seen with our eyes or our Reason.
A new perception of reality, a sense of Oneness, letting go, trusting to our deepest intuition, living artfully, relinquishing attempts to control. They're one and the same.
"Beliefs can be changed, as easily as we believe they can." - Willis Harman and Howard Rheingold
