A Space Without A Goal
Thirteen
The web emulates the structure of human thought.
It's associative. Nothing is more than one connection from anything else.
It's made, but it "behaves" as sublime.
It's all one space. One thought.
Everything's connected. It's holographic, too.
Big news.
Yoohoo.
Hello?
It's emergent.
Collective thought is emergent thought.
Our consciousness is connected.
The made web hauls us over the edge. Like it or not, it drops the rationalities of a new version of reality upon us.
A Space Without A Goal curates consciousness. Join in. Connect.
The English like it coz you can be witty in it. What ho.
The Germans are gonna have a tough time organizing chaos.
"Does anybody else feel like a fried egg?" - The Riddler in Batman
Everything's legitimate. Film, fiction, philosophy, frankfurters. It's all gotta be experienced to be. All experience is legitimate.
Sublime.
It has to be thought, to exist.
The being is the doing.
A change in perception in reality is a change in reality.
The world's getting more chaotic. It's okay. No need to fight it. Chaos is good for us.
Let go.
Think better of things and things get better.
Let go.
Follow your intuition. It works.
It works.
Following your intuition, letting go, works.
Chaos is good for us.
Batman's as legitimate as a book, a holy book's as legitimate as a flower, a flower a poem, a poem a kiss.
To exist, share.
Dogma goes.
Yeehah.
Intuition got to this word.
And this one. No master plan. No view of the future. Never had the vaguest idea I'd end up talking about intuition in a consciousness archive. No idea an aphorism ago I'd be here.
Our intuition carried us, without realizing, to the web.
Curiosity is the instinct to connect. Intuition - the instinct to connect.
Instinct is intuitive. But wave goodbye to neanderthal man. This is collective instinct. Collective instinct is a rather more civilized affair.
It's all about love. The virtues. What John Perry Barlow calls "a psychic rainforest of interaction."
An inventor, of VRML, the first way to add a sense of behavior to a made sense of interconnectedness, is penning poems, completely on the spur of the moment, about love. The poetry of Chaos, Part One.
Ain't nothing special about being intuitive. Doesn't take brains. All it takes is a letting go.
"You are already enlightened; all you have to do is wake up the fact." - Zen saying
All that produces this sentence is a letting go.
A Space Without A Goal curates consciousness. It's an intuition pump about intuition.
A Space Without A Goal is a space about letting go. The being is the doing.
This is a space about connected mind.
There's nothing special about connected mind. It's an attitude.
Cyberspace is a state of mind.
"It's *all* virtual reality." - John Perry Barlow
"Each one of us can perhaps discover his own answer." - John Cage
"Nothing is done until each one of us does it." - John Cage
"It's not a question of learning, but of doing the experience." - John Cage
Nowt evil is being said in this space. Given that fact, allow for the fact that what's being said here is true. What have you got to lose? Let go.
Connect. Only be connected.
Notions of identity, such as ownership, will change.
To describe being prepared to look stupid, you gotta be prepared to look stupid. The being is the doing.
Everything's fungible.
Everything flows.
Everything mixes.
Everything's connected.
We are One.
Everything is contextual.
All is flow.
All is cause.
Technology is a metaphor. The web's a metaphor. Everything is unfinished. All is flow. All is response.
Life, once started, never stops.
"Biology helps me be optimistic with its profound LIFE GOES ON realization. Everything dies except life." - Stewart Brand
"The great secret which life has kept from us is that once born, life is immortal. Once launched, it cannot be eradicated." - Kevin Kelly
"Life is the strange loop of a snake releasing itself from its own grip, unmouthing an ever fattening tail tapering up to an ever increasingly large mouth, birthing an ever larger tail, filling the universe with this strangeness." - Kevin Kelly
"Let us learn to dream." - August Keklue von Stradonitz
"Life is in the business of making its environment agreeable for life." - Kevin Kelly
Things tend toward the sublime.
"We should not be surprised that life, having subjugated the bulk of inert matter on Earth, would go on to subjugate technology, and bring it also under its reign of constant evolution." - Kevin Kelly
There is no need to worry about judging others. Once you stop judging yourself, that follows automatically. Let go.
Attaching "importance" to stuff is an attempt to force a reality. Forcing reality doesn't work. No wonder that so many things we once thought important no longer are. It's also why some of the ideas we now hold most dear, may not be as coherent as we thought.
There's really no way to tell what's important, to pre-judge things. The being is the doing.
"I'm convinced that all importance is overestimated and far more temporal than we like to think." - John Perry Barlow
