This quote is from John Brunner's "The Jagged Orbit", Arrow Books, 1979, page 83. I have read a few pretty mediocre books by John Brunner and also some great ones. "The Jagged Orbit" is pretty good and the greats are "The Shockwave Rider", "Stand on Zanzibar" and "Sheep Look Up". What amazes me is that someone who has written sci-fi books that tell us a lot about the times we live in should have disappeared from all but the most esoteric bookshops, at least in England. If any one can answer this mystery please let me know.
